BROW + FACIAL WAXING

Although rare, please contact a healthcare professional at the first signs of infection/reactions such as swollen eyes, severe discomfort, etc.

Before brow + facial waxing:

I cannot wax anyone that has an active Herpes outbreak, that has sunburn, or that has had a chemical peel within the past 7 days.  Clients must wait at least 6 months after the completion of Accutane medication, post IPL + laser skin treatments to receive any waxing services. If you are using Retina - A, Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Renova, Differin, Avage, Avita, Strivectin, Tazorac, Pro Active, Benzoyl Peroxide, or any other prescription exfoliants for skincare, discontinue use for one week prior to your waxing treatment. It's also important to review your internal medications (ie. oral or topical antibiotics, oral steroids), many can thin the skin and can cause skin to lift during waxing.

For 24-48 hours after a brow waxing + facial waxing service, avoid the following:

■ Sunlight: No exposure to UV rays, no tanning beds. Wear sunscreen on the area you received the waxing service 24-48hours post receiving your service

■ Soaking: No swimming pools, hot tubs, or saunas where your waxed skin is exposed to bacteria &/or chemicals

■ Scrubbing: No harsh exfoliating, physical or chemical, to the waxed area

■ Sweating: No immediate exercise, sweating irritates your open pores

■ Scents: Avoid lotions or other products directly on the waxed area

Recommended Follow-up Appointments:

●  Maintain a regular schedule of 3-6 weeks between waxes, based upon your own hair growth.
